Felipe Lopeandía W. (Santiago, Chile, 24 March 1970) has served since 1997 at the General Directorate of International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, first at the Services, Investment and Air Transportation Department, being its Head between 2000 and 2005, and then at the Legal Division. He has ample experience in the negotiations of Chile 's FTAs, particularly in the areas of Services, Investment, Dispute Settlement and Institutional Issues. Since May 2006 he has served as Counselor at the Chilean Mission to the WTO in Geneva .

Mr Lopeandía obtained his law degree from University Diego Portales. He has given classes on international regulations for Services and Investment at Chilean and foreign universities.

At the Chile Mission to the WTO, Mr Lopeandía has responsibilities on the following areas:

•  Negotiations on Services

•  Council on Trade on Services and its subsidiary bodies

•  Dispute Settlement Body (regular and especial sessions)

•  Committee on Sanitary and Phitosanitary Measures

•  Committee on Trade-Related Investment Measures
